Marius Fabre
In 1900, just 22 years old, Marius Fabre creates his soap factory in Salon-de-Provence. He settled in the hangar at the bottom of his garden, which he arranged to accommodate two cauldrons and a few bets.
Salon-de-Provence saw a period of great economic prosperity, based on the manufacture and trade of olive oil, soap and coffee, developed thanks to the arrival of the railway in 1873.
