Burdock is traditionally used in herbal medicine as an alterative to help eliminate toxins through the kidneys, skin and mucous membranes, as a diuretic and to induce sweating (diaphoretic). Dandelion is traditionally used in herbal medicine to help increase the flow of bile (cholagogue and choleretic), as a laxative (aperitive) and to help treat digestive disorders.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE (ADULTS): 2 sachets once a day in infusion. Infuse 2 sachets in a cup of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes.

MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS: Each sachet contains 600mg root of Arctium lappa (Burdock), 600mg leaf of Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion) and 300mg root of Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow).

DURATION OF USE: Indigestion: Consult a health care practitioner if use extends beyond 2 weeks. Diuretic: Occasional use only.

PRECAUTIONS / WARNINGS: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; before use if you are breastfeeding or if you have liver or gall bladder disease and / or intestinal obstruction. Stop use and see a doctor immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle pain or weakness, abnormal heart rhythm and / or difficulty breathing.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you are pregnant; if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae / Compositae / Daisy family; if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, diabetes or edema (swelling of your hands, face, or feet), or if you are taking products containing diuretics.
