Estro-Mend, provided by Douglas Laboratories, is a synergistic blend of herbs that support healthy estrogen receptor function, healthy metabolism of estrogens, and functional mimetics of estrogen. This soy-free combination is designed to support healthy estrogen function in bone, heart, brain, breasts, vagina and other estrogen sensitive tissues.
Estro-Mend is a Hormone Specific Formulation formulated by Dr Joseph J. Collins and provided by Douglas Laboratories, created to safely support the optimal function of estrogen through the use of hormone specific adaptogens, hormone specific agonists and hormone specific functional mimetics. This formula may be used as part of a hormone health program with dietary and nutrient support. In addition, this formula may be used by clinicians as an adjuvant to promote optimal hormone health in patients who have been prescribed bioidentical hormone replacement therapies.
Pueraria & Trifoliumprovide isoflavones that support 2-hydroxylation, glucose utilization and bone health. Phytoestrogens that mimic the functions of estrogens without proliferative actions, include Cimicfuga, Humulus, and Salviawhich support and minimize the changes and symptoms that are sometimes experienced during menopause.
The phytoestrogens found in Dong Quai also help to increase vaginal lubrication by maintaining mucus tissue health. Adaptogens with nootropic and neuroprotective properties such as Bacopa,Centella,Salviaand Schisandra support cognition, memory and the facilitation of learning; functions associated with optimal estrogen function.

Suggested Usage
Adults: Take 1 capsule 2 times daily with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Use for a minimum of 4 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 6 months
Risk Information
Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have diarrhoea, haemorrhagic diseases, hypermenorrhoea, a seizure disorder, or an allergy to members of the Apiacease/Umbelliferae family. Do not use if you currently have or previously had breast cancer or you have a predisposition to cancer as indicated by an abnormal mammogram or biopsy or a family member with breast cancer. Ensure you are up-to-date on appointed clinical tests such as mammographs, endometrial ultrasounds or biopsies before using this product.
Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder, depression or related diseases, a family history of cancer or are taking blood thinners, birth control pills, or hormone replacement therapy. Consult a healthcare practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble or if symptoms persist or worsen. Discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner if menstruation is delayed or absent, you experience increased menstrual bleeding time, or if you experience breast pain, discomfort, soreness, tenderness, or abnormal uterine bleeding including spotting or recurrence of menstruation in postmenopausal women. Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
Some people may experience drowsiness and digestive problems. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy. Store in a cool, dry place. If seal around cap is broken, do not use.
