Hawthorn Flower & Leaf Herbal Tea
Hawthorn, also known as the May Spine or White Thorn, grows in temperate zones. It is a bush plant. Its flowers are gathered in the spring and its fruit in the autumn.
Recommended dose (adults): 1 teabag (1.5 g) 3 times per day, by infusion (Infuse 1 teabag in 250 ml of boiled water for 15 minutes).
Medicinal ingredient: Each teabag contains 1.5g dried fine cut leaves and flowers of Crataegus monogyna (Hawthorn).
Duration of use
Use for a minimum of 2 months to see beneficial effects.
Cautions/Warnings
Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; prior to use if you are taking cardiac glycosides such as digitalis/digoxin or blood pressure medication.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use if seal on bag is broken.
