Marseille soap with olive oil
For more than 115 years and four generations of family, we manufacture our Marseille soap from vegetable oils exclusively, rigorously selected. It contains neither coloring nor synthetic adjuvant. It is not derived from petroleum derivatives or animal fats as the majority of soaps and shower gels trade.
Gentle for the skin, natural and effective
The manufacturing process "à la Marseillaise" guarantees a soap "Extra pure", free of any impurities. It takes care of all skin, especially the most sensitive (babies, allergic skin ...). Olive oil brings its nourishing qualities: Marseille Marius Fabre soap in olive oil helps to reduce the dryness of the skin *.

Environmentally friendly and economical
Pure vegetable, biodegradable, phosphate-free and synthetic, it does not pollute the rivers and contributes to the preservation of the environment. Moreover, it requires very little packaging. It lasts a very long time, all the more so when it is dried. Its longevity makes it a particularly economical product.
Insist on the logo deposited by the Union of Soap Professionals of Marseille! This logo guarantees an authentic Marseille soap, manufactured according to three essential criteria:
1. A composition: vegetable oils exclusively, fragrance free, colorless, preservative free.
2. A manufacturing process: cooking in a cauldron, according to a specific saponification process, called the "Marseilles method", comprising 5 steps. The production in a cauldron lasts from one week to ten days.
3. A geographical origin: manufactured in the historic soap-making basin of Marseille: the Marseilles region, today corresponding to the department of Bouches-du-Rhône (13).
The soap factory Marius Fabre is one of the four founding members of the "Union of Soap Professionals of Marseilles", an association created in 2011 to defend and promote authentic Marseilles soap.

The glycerin contained in our Marseilles soaps is not glycerine added on the contrary to the so-called "glycerin" soaps. It is in fact the glycerine naturally contained in vegetable oil. At the end of the 10 days of cooking and the many rinses, only a small part remains. The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients of our soaps, because there are still traces. The new cosmetic regulations require that all ingredients, even in trace amounts, be indicated in the list of ingredients.
