Senna Leaf Herbal Tea

Smoothly relieves occasional constipation.

Recommended Dose (Adults): Steep 1 bag in one cup of cold water for 8 hours. Drink one cup at bedtime. Acts between 6 and 12 hours. Do not use less than 2 hours after having taken any other medication.

Medicinal ingredient: Each teabag contains 2g dried leaf of Cassia angustifolia. (Senna).

Duration of use: Do not use any laxative for more than 1 week, except on health care practitioner’s advice.

Cautions/Warnings

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking heart medications, diuretics, adrenocorticosteroids, licorice root or other health products that may aggravate electrolyte imbalance or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Contraindications

Do not use if you have intestinal obstructions and/or stenosis, atony, appendicitis, inflammatory colon diseases (e.g. Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis), abdominal pain of unknown origin, and/or a severe dehydration state with water and electrolyte depletion.

Know Adverse Reactions: If hypersensitivity occurs, discontinue use.
Keep out of reach of children.
