Cardamom is a herbaceous plant from the Zingiberaceae family, just like ginger and turmeric. Its essential oil, renowned for its pleasantly camphoric and spicy scent, is very popular in diffusion, alone or mixed with other essential oils. It is also used to purify the breath and for its digestive properties, in the event of gastric reflux or bloating for example. Latin name: Elettaria cardamomum.
Suggested Usage
For aromatherapy use. Simply add drops of essential oil to a diffuser reservoir to add aroma to any space any time. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil prior to use.
