Chia seeds (Salvia Hispanica) are native to the central valleys of Mexico and have been known and used for over 5,000 years.
The Aztecs used it as a survival food – it was said that a tablespoon of chia could keep a warrior strong for 24 hours.
It was also used as an offering to the gods.
Ingredients: Ground organic white chia seeds.
May contain traces of sesame, nuts and soy.
Storage: 12 months in a cool, dry place, protected from light and humidity, preferably in the refrigerator.
