How it Works

BioGuard Purifying Cleanser combines effective germ-killing properties of 80% ethyl alcohol with trusted SilverShield colloidal silver and time-honoured essential oils. This unique blend is effective at protecting skin against the many strains of bacterium faced on a daily basis.

Ethyl alcohol is regarded by medical science and HealthCanada as an effective antiseptic agent against harmful bacteria. Concentrations of higher than 60% ethyl alcohol (BioGuard is 80%) are acknowledged as most effective and safe for daily external use.

Another well established antiseptic is colloidal silver,being used in many antiseptic commercial and medical products to prevent infection and spread of various infectious agents.
