Product Description:
Used in herbal medicine to help relieve agitation and/or nervousness (sedative and/or calming).
Recommended dosage (adults):
2 capsules, 3 to 4 times daily, with water.
Medicinal ingredient:
Each capsule contains 400mg dried aerial part in powder of Hypericum perforatum L. (St. John's Wort).
Non-medicinal ingredient:
Vegetable capsule
Duration of use:
Use for at least 1 week to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner if use is prolonged beyond 18 weeks.
Cautions/Warnings:
Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are taking anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and/or opiates. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or any sources of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
Contraindications:
Do not use if you are taking anticancer agents, anticoagulants, antidepressants (e.g., specific serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs)), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular medications, immunosuppressants and/or contraceptives.
Known Adverse Reactions:
Some individuals may experience mild gastrointestinal upset, nausea, agitation, and/or headache. Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) may occur. If this occurs, discontinue use.
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if outer seal is broken.
